Socks are often an undergarment that men overlook and are not given the full consideration they deserve when looking to wear an outfit. Why men seem to hold them with so little regard is puzzling. They are usually post-outfit thinking, if at all, and are often considered only for their practical function of having something between the foot and the shoe.
So I decided that many men would benefit from a simple list of my top five tips to help you make the right choice when buying men's socks. Those that will help you avoid mistakes, will apply the correct label and will allow you to wear socks that combine an outfit, whether it be an elegant or informal look.
So here are my top tips for choosing the men’s ankle socks.
1.Quality:-This is the key to buying any pair of socks, and after all, it is likely the most battered item of clothing. Most of us will spend most of 12 hours a day walking in the same pair of socks, so you need ones that are up to the job.
2.Color:-Probably the most important factor in getting the right overall look is the color of your socks. The object of the game here is to seamlessly bring your upper and lower half together, and harmoniously match them with your socks.
3.Plain or patterned:- In general, plain socks work best with elegant formal wear and where plain or patterned can go quite well with most casual wear.
However, a word of caution here is to avoid all patterned socks if you are wearing heavily patterned pants. It would be much better to go with a plain sock in the instance.
