You must have some idea of who your audience is. If you do not, then you may be wasting your efforts. If you know your audience, then you must clearly define the needs that they have proposed a solution (which you can provide) for their needs. But here is the big clue … letter did not give them a solution, just tell them that you have it. They need to contact you to get it. One good strategy here is to ask specific questions that you already know the answer.
